Hourly plus opportunities for additional hours About Us Timberline Glamping Lake Martin provides guests with a luxury camping experience in one of Alabama's most beautiful outdoor lake destinations. We are located inside Wind Creek State Park! ✨Cleanliness is one of the most important parts of creating an exceptional guest experience, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in doing things right, who is incredibly thorough (the phrase "obsessive about details" might apply to you!), pays attention to every single tiny little detail . Position Overview We're looking for a dependable cleaner who wants consistent work and can become our primary cleaner. This is more than simply cleaning—it means preparing each tent so every guest arrives to a spotless, calm, welcoming space. The vibe is everything . Responsibilities Complete thorough, detailed cleans after guest stays Setup incoming guest with a welcoming experience, and set out their ordered add-ons (s'mores kits, kayak, SUP, firewood, etc.) Change and make beds Clean interior and exterior of tent furnishings, including under beds, firepit, grill, etc. Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all guest areas Train other new hire cleaners Restock guest amenities and supplies Check for maintenance issues and report anything needing attention; problem solving in the moment needed if a guest is checking in! Ensure every tent meets Timberline's quality standards before guest arrival Assist with occasional deep cleans and seasonal projects Help maintain organization of cleaning supplies and inventory Qualifications Dependable and punctual Strong attention to detail Able to work independently Positive attitude and willingness to learn Able to lift approximately 20-40 pounds Reliable transportation Cleaning experience is preferred but we're happy to train someone with the right attitude and work ethic. Schedule Hours vary based on reservations, but most of the work happens between checkout/in, so between 11a-4pm. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Additional hours may be available through deep cleaning projects, refresh services, and seasonal work. Why Join Timberline? Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial services within hospitality or industrial cleaning environments. Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, chemical agent handling, and custodial procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while maintaining efficiency. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guest satisfaction. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team effectively.
