Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across all facility areas, including offices, restrooms, common spaces, and industrial zones, utilizing appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Handle chemical agents safely, adhering to all safety protocols and handling instructions to prevent accidents or contamination. Operate janitorial equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums to maintain high standards of cleanliness and floor care. Conduct custodial tasks like trash removal, surface disinfection, window cleaning, and floor buffing to uphold hygiene standards. Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and menu plans, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met consistently. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution. Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting of supplies or equipment while following safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Skills Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures. Knowledge of chemical agent handling, safety protocols, and proper use of cleaning equipment like floor buffers and industrial cleaners. Skilled in manual handling techniques with the ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently. Experience in food preparation or cooking within a facility setting is preferred. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or light painting is advantageous. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills combined with a proactive approach to cleanliness, safety, and food service standards.
