This position involves performing thorough cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces to meet established protocols. The Cleaning Tech is responsible for identifying areas that require special attention and reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. By adhering to health and safety guidelines, the role contributes significantly to the overall well-being of employees, clients, and visitors. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a professional cleaning or janitorial role. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and procedures. Certification in cleaning or sanitation practices. Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal in assigned areas. Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and disinfectants. Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and maintained properly. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor in a timely manner. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for self and others.
