Cleaning Technician (a)

Looking for an experienced janitorial worker. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Additionally, we expect all workers to be neat, punctual, detail oriented and safety conscious.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for overseeing all cleaning requirements. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential. Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Employees in this job perform and oversee a variety of janitorial, custodial, and/or security tasks to maintain clean and safe buildings and grounds.

Job Hours:

2x per week: will discuss during interview

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

NOTE:

The job duties listed are typical examples of the work performed by positions in this job classification. Not all duties assigned to every position are included, nor is it expected that all positions will be assigned every duty. Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs,
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms,
• Oversees and leads the cleaning of rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways and windows,
• Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms,
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas,
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary,
• Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered. Dusts such items as blinds, furniture, file cabinets, and windowsills using treated dust mittens, cloths, or hand-cleaning items,
• Polishes furniture, metal work, and chrome using appropriate cleaning and polishing compounds,
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner,
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition,
• Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals,
• Maintain vending closets in a clean, organized and safe manner,
• Cleans grounds and parking lots of litter, glass, or other debris,
• Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures,
• Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.
