Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and window cleaning to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces to promote infection control Operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor buffers, and chemical sprayers safely and effectively Conduct routine sanitation procedures in restrooms, kitchens, and common areas following health guidelines Manage laundry services when required, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly during all cleaning activities to ensure safety and compliance with safety protocols Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving cleaning supplies or equipment while maintaining proper manual handling techniques Qualifications Prior custodial or janitorial experience demonstrating familiarity with commercial cleaning standards Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures Experience with chemical handling and safe use of cleaning agents in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) Ability to operate various cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting heavy objects safely Good customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed Join our team as a Custodian and play a crucial role in creating a clean, healthy environment that fosters productivity and well-being.
