Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will ensure that our work environment remains spotless, safe, and welcoming for all employees, visitors, and clients. Your energetic approach to cleaning and maintenance will help uphold the highest standards of cleanliness across our commercial or residential spaces. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine appearance Handle trash removal and recycling procedures efficiently throughout the facility Conduct routine inspections of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any repairs or replacements needed Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, minor repairs, or painting touch-ups when necessary Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment Support industrial cleaning or specialized custodial tasks as required for specific areas or projects Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques.
