Varies by project; overtime, weekends, and night shifts may be required Job Summary Legacy Group Holdings is hiring dependable Industrial Hydroblasters for traveling assignments at multiple project locations. This position involves using high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure water-blasting equipment to clean industrial equipment, tanks, piping, surfaces, and work areas. Candidates must be willing to travel frequently, work long shifts, perform physically demanding labor, and follow all safety procedures without shortcuts. Previous hydroblasting or industrial-cleaning experience is preferred, but candidates with related industrial experience may also be considered. Responsibilities Operate high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure water-blasting equipment Use hydroblast shotguns, lances, hoses, nozzles, and related tools Clean industrial equipment, tanks, vessels, piping, floors, and other surfaces Assist with equipment setup, hose placement, barricades, and jobsite preparation Inspect hoses, fittings, pumps, and safety devices before use Maintain control of equipment and remain aware of surrounding crew members Follow hand signals and instructions from supervisors and pump operators Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting equipment Clean and properly store tools and equipment after each assignment Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company, customer, and site-specific safety requirements Immediately report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, or injuries Qualifications Previous hydroblasting, industrial-cleaning, construction, or heavy-industrial experience preferred Willingness to learn proper hydroblasting techniques and safety procedures Ability to work safely around high-pressure equipment Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a crew Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and work in physically demanding positions Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds Comfortable working outdoors and in hot, cold, wet, dirty, or noisy environments Willingness to work around water, chemicals, debris, and industrial materials Willingness to work days, nights, weekends, overtime, and extended shifts Ability to travel and remain out of town for the duration of each assignment Reliable transportation to the designated reporting or departure location Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to pass all required pre-employment and site-access screening Work Environment Hydroblasting is physically demanding and potentially hazardous work. Employees may be exposed to high-pressure water, wet or slippery surfaces, industrial equipment, loud noise, extreme temperatures, debris, and changing jobsite conditions. Some assignments may also require work at heights, in confined spaces, or while wearing respiratory protection. Employees must wear all required PPE and follow established safety procedures at all times. Preferred Qualifications Previous industrial hydroblasting experience Experience operating hydroblast shotguns or lances Industrial vacuum-truck or chemical-cleaning experience Refinery, paper mill, power plant, manufacturing, shipyard, or steel-mill experience OSHA 10 certification Confined-space training Respirator clearance and fit-testing experience Valid driver's license Travel Requirements This is a traveling position involving multiple job locations. Project length, schedule, and destination will vary. Applicants must be prepared to travel frequently and remain away from home for extended periods when required.
