Janitorial Worker Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitorial Worker to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, ensuring a tidy environment, and supporting additional site activities such as moving vehicles and landscaping. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities to contribute to the overall upkeep of our premises. Duties Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing restrooms and common areas. Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene. Move cars around the lot as needed to facilitate parking or operational requirements. Assist with landscaping tasks to ensure outdoor areas remain well-maintained and visually appealing. Support other site-related activities such as moving vehicles or equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor supplies and notify management when cleaning materials or equipment need replenishing or repairs. Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Requirements Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Good organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively. Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality. Basic knowledge of landscaping or willingness to learn outdoor maintenance tasks is advantageous. Must adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a professional attitude at all times.
