This role is responsible for maintaining the overall condition and appearance of the property while ensuring a safe, comfortable living environment for residents. The ideal candidate has experience in general maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellent service. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of the property including parking lots, walkways, breezeways, stairwells, and common areas Maintain cleanliness of amenities such as pool areas, clubhouse, laundry rooms, and fitness center Assist with daily groundskeeping duties such as sweeping, blowing leaves, and pressure washing as needed Help prepare units for new residents (trash removal, light cleaning, etc.) Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment Assist maintenance staff with tasks when needed Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance shop organization Qualifications Previous porter, janitorial, or groundskeeping experience is a plus but not required HVAC certification (EPA certification a preferred) Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and stairs, bending, and standing for extended periods Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
