We pride ourselves on delivering top-tier cleaning and maintenance solutions to a diverse range of clients, ensuring clean, safe, and welcoming environments. We are looking to hire for the following positions: Day Shift 8am-400pm Wednesday thru Sunday Starting Pay $12 an hour, Evening shift Monday Thru Friday 3pm-11pm starting pay $12 an hour, Evening Shift Monday thru Friday ( if you live in Mobile and choose to ride company van hours are 430pm- 1230am , If you live in Mount Vernon Area then your hours will be 515pm-1230am ) starting pay $11.50 an hour Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring they meet high standards of hygiene and safety. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a healthy environment for employees, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle chemical agents safely while performing sanitation tasks, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, trash removal, and equipment setup while following safe lifting practices. Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and fixtures to ensure facilities are visually appealing and hygienic. Use custodial equipment efficiently for tasks such as buffing, floor care, and industrial cleaning to uphold facility standards. Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks when needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues promptly. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical agent handling safety procedures. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and mops. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper body mechanics. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety. Good customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary. Prior experience with residential painting or general maintenance is a plus but not required.
