We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Porter/Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our property in top condition.
Position Overview:
The Porter/Maintenance Technician plays a key role in maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of the property. This position works closely with the property manager and maintenance team to ensure that the grounds, facilities, and units are well-kept and that resident satisfaction remains high.
Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, and amenities (including clubhouse, fitness center, laundry rooms, etc.) Sweep, mop, and pressure wash walkways, curbs, and parking areas as needed Pick up and properly dispose of litter and debris throughout the property and around dumpsters Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as painting, light fixture replacement, and minor repairs Help prepare apartments for new residents (cleaning, basic touch-ups, etc.) Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, and property damage promptly Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and seasonal upkeep as required Support the maintenance team with work orders and special projects
Qualifications:
Prior experience in maintenance, janitorial, or property management preferred Basic knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and safety procedures Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Schedule & Compensation:
Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30 Closed on Holidays $14/hour How to
