Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Worker to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various commercial or residential properties. Your energetic approach to cleaning and maintenance will ensure that all spaces meet high standards of hygiene and presentation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience to contribute to a well-organized and efficient facility. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces Execute specialized floor care including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance Assist with industrial cleaning projects and facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall building operations Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas by regularly sanitizing surfaces and ensuring safety standards are met Support minor repairs or maintenance tasks related to janitorial equipment or facility fixtures Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including floor care and industrial cleaning procedures Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, floor scrubbers, and vacuums effectively Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks and basic repair skills is a plus Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Join us in creating pristine environments that foster productivity and comfort!
