Job Description
- Sanitation Worker
- Location:
- Little Rock, AR
- Schedule:
- Sunday-Thursday, 5:00 p.m. until completion
- Shift:
- Second Shift
- Pay:
- $18/hour
- Job Summary
- We are hiring a dependable and detail-oriented
- Sanitation Worker
- to clean and sanitize a food manufacturing facility. This role will maintain production areas, equipment, floors, break rooms, restrooms, and surrounding areas to meet food safety, quality, and inspection standards. Workers will operate in freezer, cooler, and dry areas. Uniforms and full PPE will be provided.
- Responsibilities
- + Clean and sanitize production equipment, machines, tables, tools, floors, and facility areas.
+ Remove meat scraps, trash, boxes, and other waste and dispose of them in the appropriate bins.
+ Rinse, sweep, mop, and squeegee assigned areas.
+ Clean and sanitize break rooms, including tables, chairs, countertops, and microwaves.
+ Wipe condensation from equipment and surfaces as needed.
+ Dispose of inedible product according to company procedures.
+ Restock production and restroom supplies, including gloves, hairnets, aprons, soap, and paper towels.
+ Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule and maintain areas that are ready for inspection.
+ Report maintenance concerns and unsafe conditions to management.
+ Follow all food safety, GMP, PPE, chemical-handling, and workplace safety procedures.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Requirements
- + High school diploma or GED.
+ At least 1 year of sanitation experience.
+ At least 1 year of warehouse or manufacturing experience.
+ Experience working around equipment or heavy machinery.
+ Food manufacturing or meat-processing sanitation experience preferred.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
+ Ability to work in freezer, cooler, and dry environments.
+ Ability to lift and move more than 50 pounds.
+ Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- + Onsite food manufacturing facility.
+ Work in freezer, cooler, and dry production areas.
+ Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, sweeping, mopping, and lifting.
+ Full uniforms and PPE provided.
+ No travel required.
