A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

25% discount on rent and free utilities! Summary and Objective The Porter is a new position for the property that will elevate the overall experience for the team and the residents. The role is filled with variety and is a great way for someone to learn a variety of skills. The role contains responsibilities of a painter, groundskeeper, cleaner, and maintenance technician. The role will frequently interact with customers and prospective residents and will have the opportunity to provide positive interactions with those individuals as well. Essential Job Functions Cleaning and housekeeping of common areas, such as the community clubhouse, building hallways, model unit, pool area, community amenities, etc. Paint apartment homes to varying degrees from light touch-up work to more extensive projects. Maintain lawns, grounds, landscaping, and parking lots including snow removal. Assist in the daily cleanliness of the community including, but not limited to, Assist with the preparation of vacant apartments to be in market-ready condition. Maintain regular attendance and follow Company rules and regulations governing presence. Communicate effectively and display a professional and kind manner when dealing with supervisors, co-workers, residents and individuals inside and outside the organization. Work well as a team member, by participating actively and constructively. Know and do all duties by following all Company safety procedures for the operation of equipment, machinery, and hazardous substances and chemicals. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training or experience. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in the state of residence. Must have reliable transportation. Must have and maintain vehicle insurance coverage. Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.
