Essential Job Functions Commandeer the outdoors, sweeping away any unwelcome debris at entryways. Embrace the skill of floor care, sweeping and mopping your way to a sparkling environment. Conquer surfaces, wiping down countertops, desks, and other areas with precision. Gather and launder soiled linens. Dive into the challenge of creating sanitary and infection-free realms by cleaning bathrooms and resident rooms. Fearlessly handle human waste and bodily fluids, following the rules of infection control and sanitation. Empty trash containers, ensuring no remnants of chaos linger. Replenish supplies, restocking linens and other necessities. Maintain and store cleaning equipment in its rightful place. Requirements and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience in environmental services, preferably a healthcare facility 6 months of professional cleaning experience preferred Obtain and maintain CPR certification Ability to obtain and maintainDPS Fingerprint Clearance Card Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to twist, bend and kneel through shift; able to pick up debris from the floor Must be able to work with chemicals, infectious waste, diseases and communicable diseases.
