Job Description
- Job Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated Janitor/Maintenance worker to help keep our Music, Dance, and Arts Academy performing its best! The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring that facilities are in good condition.
- Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties such as cleaning and sanitizing designated areas
- Conduct floor care including mopping, and vacuuming
- Handle commercial cleaning tasks in various areas including cleaning desks, offices, and musical instruments
- Support porter duties including trash removal and restocking supplies
- Maintain facilities by performing minor repairs and notifying management of major repairs
- Skills
- Experience in custodial and maintenance work with extra care given to musical instruments and similar equipment throughout the facility
- Proficiency in floor care techniques including caring for our specialized Dance floor
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures
- Ability and desire to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and consistently.
- Understanding that the cleanliness of our facility has a direct impact on the ability of our students to be successful
- Ideal Availability/Hours
- 10 hours a week up to 5 days.
