Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Custodians work inside classrooms, hallways, restrooms, gymnasiums, cafeterias, and offices, as well as outside maintaining school grounds Schools can be bustling with students, teachers, and activities, requiring custodians to navigate through crowds and maintain order Frequent use of cleaning solutions, disinfectants, and floor treatments requires proper safety precautions May work special events at school including week-ends May be exposed to high temperatures when working outside Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs
