Job Description

BACKGROUND
Since 1952, Beacon Group has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities across Southern Arizona, Phoenix and beyond. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, Beacon serves nearly 2000 people with disabilities each year. Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist nearly two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. As a Beacon employee, you can be a part of delivering our mission and improving the lives of people with disabilities.
POSITION INTRODUCTION
We seek a reliable and detail-oriented person to be part of our custodial team. This is a Part time position working Monday-Friday late afternoon - evening. To support our mission, preference will be given to individuals with a documented disability. Beacon Group provides extra accommodation and supports to help people with disabilities be successful at their jobs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to training as assigned by Custodial Account Manager, Custodial Lead, or designated trainer. Training may be written, oral, computer based, or on the job training. Adhere to all Beacon Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety, security, and customer site policies. Ensure assigned spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash/recycle, organizing furniture, & dusting surfaces. Sweep / mop hard surface floors, vacuum carpeted areas. Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, urinals, and other restroom/shower fixtures. Stock consumable supplies in break areas and restrooms or other areas as assigned by leadership. Maintain accountability for assigned facility keys, badges, or other access media. Report stolen or misplaced access media to leadership immediately. Ability to act in a professional manner and communicate with building tenants and custodial leadership. Must be able to pass any background/drug screens.
