Job Description TATCO Services, Inc. is seeking dependable, safety-conscious Janitorial / Recreation Site Cleaners to support our operations throughout a local National Forest. Specific work locations will be disclosed upon contact with selected applicants. This is a mobile, outdoor janitorial position that requires employees to travel between assigned recreation sites using a company vehicle. Employees are responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and welcoming public recreation areas by cleaning restroom facilities, removing trash, policing litter, cleaning site amenities, and completing other assigned janitorial duties. This position requires a high level of reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while completing assigned routes according to TATCO Services and contract quality standards. Duties & Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities include: Drive a company vehicle between assigned recreation sites and work locations. Clean, sanitize, and maintain public restroom and toilet facilities. Empty trash receptacles and remove garbage and refuse from recreation areas. Load, secure, transport, and properly dispose of collected trash and debris. Pick up litter and debris throughout assigned recreation sites, parking areas, trailheads, and other designated areas. Clean picnic tables, grills, and other designated recreation-site amenities. Sweep and clean designated areas as required. Replenish restroom and janitorial supplies as assigned. Safely use cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, tools, equipment, and required personal protective equipment (PPE). Transport cleaning supplies, equipment, water, and other materials between work locations. Inspect assigned areas while performing services and report damaged, broken, vandalized, or malfunctioning facilities and equipment. Report safety hazards, unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, or service issues to the supervisor. Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and supplies in a clean and responsible manner. Complete assigned routes and services thoroughly and within established operational requirements. Interact professionally and respectfully with members of the public, client representatives, coworkers, and supervisors. Follow TATCO Services safety procedures, company policies, vehicle requirements, and client/site-specific rules. Perform other related janitorial and site-support duties as assigned. Requirements To be considered for this position, applicants must: Possess a valid driver's license and meet TATCO Services' requirements to operate a company vehicle. Be able and willing to drive between multiple recreation sites during the workday. Be dependable and maintain regular and reliable attendance. Be comfortable cleaning and sanitizing public restroom facilities. Be willing and able to handle, collect, load, transport, and dispose of trash and refuse. Be able to work independently with limited direct supervision. Be able to follow assigned routes, written procedures, safety requirements, and supervisor instructions. Be willing to work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions. Be able to safely use janitorial chemicals, cleaning equipment, tools, and required PPE. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while representing TATCO Services. Comply with company safety, substance-abuse, vehicle, and workplace-conduct policies. Meet any background, driving-record, client-access, or other screening requirements applicable to the position. These vehicle-related requirements align with the TATCO Workforce Handbook, which requires authorized company-vehicle drivers to maintain a valid driver's license and comply with company fleet and safety requirements.

Willingness to perform hands-on janitorial work, including restroom cleaning and trash removal. Must successfully complete a background check as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law and client requirements. Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are preferred but not required : At least one (1) year of janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, environmental services, or commercial cleaning experience. Previous experience cleaning public restrooms or high-traffic facilities. Previous experience with trash collection, groundskeeping, litter removal, or outdoor facility maintenance. Experience working independently or completing a multi-location service route. Experience safely operating a company vehicle as part of regular job duties. Familiarity with commercial cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, janitorial equipment, and proper chemical-handling procedures. Experience working at parks, campgrounds, recreation areas, hospitality properties, or other public-facing facilities. Experience performing physically active work in outdoor environments. Demonstrated history of reliable attendance and completing assigned work with limited supervision. Strong time-management and route-management skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize cleanliness, safety, and maintenance issues before they become larger problems.

$17.75 per hour

Health & Welfare:

$5.09 per hour TATCO Services offers eligible employees: Paid Time Off (PTO): Two weeks of paid time off per year after 12 months of employment.

Paid Sick Leave:

Eligible full-time employees receive 56 hours of paid sick leave per calendar year immediately upon hire . 401(k)

Retirement Plan:

Eligible employees may participate after attaining age 18 and completing three months of service . The plan offers traditional pre-tax and Roth employee contribution options, subject to plan terms. Additional benefits and leave may be available based on employment classification, company policy, and applicable contract requirements.
