Part time/ Non-Exempt

QUALIFICATIONS
Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent Must have the ability to follow directions Minimum of one-year (1) Maintenance/Janitorial/Custodial experience Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must possess a positive and professional attitude Bilingual Spanish/English preferred Must have good attention to detail and quality while working efficiently Must have a valid Arizona driver's license with clean MVR Must complete The Salvation Army's PTM training Must be able to pass a criminal background check
RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean and detail all restrooms daily, ensuring that all supplies are adequately stocked Clean and detail all offices and work spaces daily Clean, detail and maintain all hallways free and clear of any clutter. Clean all light fixtures, replacing light bulbs as necessary, including emergency exit lights Clean and polish all baseboards Set up / take down tables and chairs as directed by the Corps leadership for regular programming. Clean all entrance doorways, including glass and framework Clean and maintain all sidewalks, parking lots, playgrounds, curbs, and courtyards; clean and free from clutter Trash cans/receptacles (inside and outside) are to be emptied on a daily basis Sweeping, vacuuming and waxing of floors Dusting furniture, fixtures and equipment Keep work area clean and neat to prevent the possibility of fire or injury Perform minor maintenance/repair tasks including replacement of light bulbs, painting, light plumbing, etc. Complete all of the above tasks as assigned by the Office Supervisor and shift leads Other duties may be assigned related to the position
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
