What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description Keep all public areas of the community clean and tidy. Remove loose garbage from the ground and waste baskets. Assist in cleaning apartments when they transition from a former resident to a new resident. Use cleaning chemicals safely and properly as needed. Qualifications No experience required, but previous janitorial/cleaning experience is a bonus. You are somebody who takes pride in keeping a facility spotless and clean. You have good communication skills and can take direction from others. You have knowledge about how to safely and properly use cleaning chemicals.
