Duties Operate professional cleaning equipment including carpet extractors, floor buffing machines, and floor scrubbers to achieve optimal cleanliness. Handle and apply various floor cleaning chemicals safely, adhering to environmental and safety guidelines. Conduct floor scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and refinishing to restore floors to their best condition. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks when moving equipment or furniture during cleaning projects. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained for optimal performance. Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, especially in commercial cleaning environments. Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
