Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all areas of our facility are kept in pristine condition, supporting the overall operations and enhancing the experience for staff and visitors alike. Your attention to detail, proactive approach, and commitment to cleanliness will directly contribute to a positive and professional atmosphere. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, hallways, offices, and common spaces to meet health and safety standards Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, toilet paper, and cleaning materials as needed Conduct deep cleaning procedures periodically for carpets, windows, and hard-to-reach areas to ensure thorough sanitation Follow established safety protocols during cleaning activities and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the appropriate personnel Assist with special cleaning projects or event setups as required Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial or institutional setting is highly preferred Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods Join us in creating a clean and inviting environment where everyone feels comfortable!
