The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, detailing experience, a general mechanical aptitude, an unrestricted driver's license, and a clean driving record. Candidates must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmissions and work productively in a team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service. Experience in a similar role preferred. Responsibilities Helps maintain rental vehicle appearance and safety standards and ensures the rental department runs in an efficient manner by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions Washes and conditions vehicle exterior, including tires, wheels, carpet cleaning Cleans and conditions vehicle interior, including vacuuming, shampooing, applying fabric/leather treatments, and polishing Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored Follows all rental policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Experience in a similar role a plus Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff Neat, clean, and professional in appearance and demeanor Must be able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision Highly professional and dependable Basic computer and internet skills Company Description Become a member of a winning team that offers growth opportunities, excellent earning potential, and leadership that fosters engaged team members.
