Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Residential Advisor/Custodian to join our team at our dormitory facility serving international students. This full-time position combines resident support with custodial duties to ensure a safe, clean, and supportive living environment for our students. Key Responsibilities Perform daily morning custodial duties including cleaning common areas, restrooms, floors, and other facilities. Conduct regular inspections of dorm facilities to identify and report maintenance issues. Provide support and supervision to international students, fostering a positive community environment. Assist with student check-ins, check-outs, and orientation activities. Respond to student inquiries and emergencies during assigned shifts. Work mornings and some weekends as required to support dormitory operations. Report directly to the Director of the Dorm on operational and student-related matters. Qualifications and Requirements Experience working with children, youth, or young adults, preferably in educational or residential settings. Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity, especially with international students. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to perform custodial tasks (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods). Reliable transportation and flexibility for morning shifts and occasional weekends. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
