Handle chemical agents safely while cleaning surfaces, ensuring proper storage and disposal in accordance with safety protocols. Conduct routine sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards across all facility zones. Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or large cleaning supplies, adhering to safe lifting practices. Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, bathrooms, and gym equipment; perform minor custodial repairs when necessary. Operate cleaning machinery including floor buffers and industrial vacuums efficiently and safely. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Provide excellent customer service by responding courteously to staff or visitor inquiries related to cleanliness or facility needs. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and industrial vacuums effectively. Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Familiarity with safety protocol adherence related to chemical agents and heavy equipment use. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude.
