This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, guests and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills. familiarity with sanitation procedures, and the ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the overall guest experience by ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the facility. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors using appropriate floor care techniques, including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Handle various cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, trash removal, and sanitation of restrooms and common areas. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuums, mops and dustmops. Manage chemical agent handling in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and safety protocols to ensure safe usage.. Ensure proper storage and disposal of cleaning supplies and chemicals in compliance with safety regulations. Qualifications Proven custodial or janitorial experience within the commercial cleaning industry or similar environment. Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods, sanitation standards, and procedures. Experience handling chemical agents safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops , and dustmops. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled routines. Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service when interacting with guests or staff members.
