A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Full-Time Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lot Porter to join our team. The Lot Porter is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the lot and service shop, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting daily operations. This position is vital in creating a positive first impression for customers and ensuring the lot runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance:
Regularly clean and organize the lot, including parking spaces, walkways, and common areas. Remove litter and debris to maintain a clean and inviting environment. Clean shop, removing trash and mopping floors as needed. Sweep and wash vehicles as needed, ensuring they are presentable for customers.
Vehicle Management:
Assist in parking vehicles efficiently, following company guidelines and procedures. Conduct routine inspections of vehicles for damage and report any issues to management. Transport vehicles as needed within the lot or to designated locations.
Customer Service:
Greet customers with a friendly and professional demeanor. Assist customers with locating their vehicles or answering parking-related inquiries. Provide information on services and promotions available at the facility.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience in a customer service role is an advantage. Ability to operate vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Capacity to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift and move items, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks as required.
