The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations of our organization through diligent cleaning and maintenance practices. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in designated areas. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure high standards of appearance. Carry out custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring all spaces are clean and well-maintained. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management. Adhere to safety protocols while performing cleaning duties, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain an organized work area and ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly stored after use. Experience Previous experience as a Janitor or in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is advantageous. Experience in floor care methods, including buffing and polishing, is a plus. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices will be beneficial. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
