As a Janitorial Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks that uphold the highest standards of hygiene and facility maintenance. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to creating a positive and healthy workspace. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure a safe and attractive environment Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and high-traffic zones using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Conduct custodial duties for both commercial and residential spaces, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep as needed Operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Support with porter duties including moving supplies, setting up for events or meetings, and maintaining supply inventories Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work within commercial or residential settings Strong knowledge of custodial practices including floor care techniques like buffing and polishing Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance tasks Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively Excellent attention to detail with a focus on hygiene standards Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly Join us in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment!
