Job Summary Under supervision of the Small Animal Nursing supervisor, clean, disinfect, sanitize and stock assigned areas according to established protocols. Monitor and record patient vital functions; maintain supply inventory and equipment; perform feeding, hospitalization and discharge procedures according to protocol. This position ends 4 months from date of hire with the possibility of extension.

Experience working as a veterinary assistant in a small animal hospital with the skill to assist in the performance of veterinary medical treatments and procedures. Experience using safe animal handling and restraint techniques for a wide variety of patients.
