Job Description Custodian Job Description Under direct supervision, to perform routine cleaning work in the schools, offices, and other facilities of the District, and to do related work as required.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
Positions in this class are entry level for custodial classes, and may be part-time positions. They are typically assigned to swing and/or night shifts and may include weekend schedules.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:
One year experience in custodial work.
Education:
Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
Upon Conditional Offer of Employment:
DOJ and FBI Criminal Background Check TB Test within the last 60 days (Education Code 49406, Assembly Bill 1667) Complete district Mandated Reporter training, Sexual Harassment, etc. Pre-Employment Physical Evaluation conducted through the District (Minimum 50 pounds)
