What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
City Wide Property Services currently has an opening for a Janitor to join our expanding team in Fremont, CA -
Schedule:
(32.5 hours per week)- Monday 7am-2:45pm Tuesday 7am-12:00pm Wednesday 7am-1:30pm Thursday 7am-1:30pm Friday 7am-2:30pm Saturday OFF Sunday OFF 70 miles total per week in personal vehicle. Must possess a valid California driver's license AND maintain valid auto insurance .
Responsibilities:
The majority of this schedule consists of outdoor janitorial , with some indoor office janitorial responsibilities.
•Wiping down trash receptacles and replacing trash liners Trash pickup around the entire parking lot, landscape areas, and dumpster enclosures Wall spotting (interior and/or exterior) Windowsill cleaning De-webbing of building and doorways Assisting in light maintenance work Sanitizing Adhering to all safety rules and procedures Maintaining equipment and storage areas in a neat, clean manner and in good working condition Reporting illegal dumping or other property issues to Management. Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid California driver's license Must maintain valid auto insurance Able to perform job duties that include pushing, carrying, bending, and handling supplies as needed. Able to handle extensive walking across properties and work outdoors year round in all weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, wind, etc.). Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical ability assessment that evaluates the essential physical functions required for this position. This role often requires working independently, being self-sufficient, and demonstrating strong communication skills. Able to work extra hours and/or changed schedules as needed to fulfill client requests.
