Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, floors, windows, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures to ensure effective sanitation without risk. Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial equipment to maintain pristine floor conditions. Conduct heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment. Maintain sanitation standards by regularly disinfecting high-touch surfaces and ensuring waste is properly disposed of in compliance with safety protocols. Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or repairing fixtures as needed. Support industrial cleaning projects or residential painting tasks when required to ensure facility upkeep. Follow all safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning operations or manual handling activities. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any cleaning-related concerns promptly and professionally. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning procedures. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and chemical dispensers. Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and sanitation standards. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving supplies or furniture. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent communication skills for effective customer service and team collaboration. Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols during all cleaning activities.
