Conduct sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards in kitchens, bathrooms, and other high-touch areas. Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or large cleaning supplies, following safe lifting practices. Maintain and operate cleaning equipment efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and industrial cleaning tools. Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to facility staff or client requests related to cleaning or maintenance needs. Support custodial and janitorial operations in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring spaces are spotless and well-maintained. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning practices. Strong understanding of chemical agent handling safety procedures and sanitation standards. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers confidently. Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks combined with safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation of all areas. Good communication skills for effective customer service and teamwork within a facilities maintenance environment.
