Cleaning Technician

Responsibilities Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting all designated areas Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces Clean carpets thoroughly using appropriate methods and equipment to remove stains and dirt Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met Handle waste disposal efficiently, ensuring trash bins are emptied regularly and recycling protocols are followed Use janitorial equipment safely and effectively, including vacuums, buffers, carpet extractors, and cleaning chemicals Follow established health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times Qualifications Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety protocols Knowledge of floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning methods Ability to operate cleaning machinery including buffers, carpet cleaners, and floor scrubbers with confidence Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently Good physical stamina to perform manual cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Familiarity with environmental services practices and safety regulations related to janitorial work is preferred Join us in creating a spotless environment where cleanliness meets excellence! Pay:

$19.50 - $21.00 per hour
