Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained to create a welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Your proactive approach to cleaning and facilities upkeep will help uphold our high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance Handle industrial cleaning tasks including the use of specialized machinery for deep cleaning and sanitation Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, fixtures, and other surfaces to uphold a professional environment Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate team Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials in accordance with safety protocols Support custodial operations by stocking supplies, restocking paper products, and maintaining cleaning equipment Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is advantageous Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and methods is a plus Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices helps ensure efficient task completion Previous porter or custodial roles demonstrate reliability and attention to detail Ability to follow safety procedures rigorously while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment Join us in creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments!
