Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean and safe environment across our facilities. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of our premises, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors alike. The position offers consistent part-time hours, primarily during evening shifts on weekends and select weekdays. Availability to work during the following shifts: Friday through Sunday from 6 pm to 11pm, and Tuesday from 6 pm to 11 pm. Duties Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of floors, carpets, and surfaces. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with safety protocols. Clean windows, glass doors, and other surfaces to ensure clarity and cleanliness. Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Follow established safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning activities. Ensure all areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness throughout scheduled shifts. Requirements Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met. Reliable and punctual with a flexible attitude towards scheduled shifts. Ability to work independently while adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.
