Cleaning & Sanitation Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and diligent Sanitation Worker to join our dynamic team! This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a clean and safe workplace while gaining valuable experience in industrial cleaning, custodial services, and sanitation procedures. 1st Shift - 7am 2nd Shift - 3pm Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of production floors, machinery, equipment, and workstations in compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waste disposal to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility. Assist with sanitation procedures in food processing or manufacturing areas to meet health regulations and quality standards. Use specialized cleaning tools and chemicals safely and effectively to ensure optimal hygiene levels. Support heavy lifting tasks related to moving supplies, equipment, or waste containers as needed. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and sanitation checks for compliance audits. Collaborate with team members to prioritize cleaning schedules and respond promptly to spillages or sanitation issues. Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in industrial or food production environments. Experience with commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals is highly advantageous. Background in food processing, manufacturing, or warehouse settings is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods. Familiarity with sanitation standards and safety protocols in industrial environments.
