Position Overview We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Janitorial Technician for a premier residential community in Irvine. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and taking ownership of their assigned property. The right candidate will demonstrate initiative, strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries while interacting with residents. This is a dedicated, full-time position with potential advancement opportunities as our company continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Maintain interior common areas, hallways, elevators, entrances, and designated residential community spaces. Perform daily cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and detailed surface cleaning. Safely operate and maintain assigned cleaning equipment and floor-care machinery. Identify and report maintenance concerns, cleaning needs, and potential safety hazards. Maintain an organized, clean, and properly stocked janitorial workspace. Complete daily cleaning checklists and provide updates using company mobile applications. Communicate professionally with residents, property management, and company leadership. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and refer personal resident requests or work outside the approved scope to management. Work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain consistent property standards. Qualifications and Preferred Skills Previous janitorial, custodial, hospitality, or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated. Professional communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong time-management and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable using mobile devices for scheduling, checklists, photos, and work documentation. Willingness to learn cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety standards. Ability to perform essential physical job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Language Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents and property management. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are strongly preferred, but not required. Spanish-speaking abilities are especially valuable for communication and collaboration with our team.
