A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

DAY PORTER BSM

Facility Services Group - We are a leading building maintenance company established in 1979, serving the Bay Area and beyond. We take pride in providing reliable, high-quality service and are seeking a Day Porter who is self-motivated, dependable, and committed to maintaining our client's facilities to the highest standards.

Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of exterior common areas Pick up litter, sweep and spot clean floors as needed Empty trash cans and replace liners Remove dust and cobwebs Wipe railings and other touchpoints Clean windows, glass, ledges, and frames Disinfect/sanitize restrooms Qualifications Must pass a federal background check Able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, stooping, kneeling) Reliable attendance and punctuality is a must Professional, customer-focused attitude when interacting with clients Respond by providing your contact information, including your phone and e-mail.
