POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse/Facility Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout the warehouse, production areas, offices, and exterior grounds. This position supports operational efficiency, safety compliance, and presents a professional facility image. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail, and consistently upholds cleanliness and organization standards across all areas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to: • Facilities Cleaning & Organization (under supervision of the Maintenance & Facilities Manager): ○ Perform daily, weekly, and monthly routine cleanings in the warehouse, machine shop, and work centers; conduct deep cleanings as needed. ○ Clean and sanitize offices, conference rooms, break rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. ○ Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of interior and exterior spaces. ○ Regularly remove garbage and recycling from work areas, bathrooms, and break rooms. ○ Respond promptly to spills or hazards, following proper safety procedures. Ensure loading docks, entryways, walkways, and storage areas remain clear of debris. ○ Maintain organized warehouse and workspaces in accordance with 6S principles. Follow SOPs to safely perform all tasks. •
Inventory & Supplies:
○ Maintain janitorial and cleaning supply inventory. ○ Request cleaning products, supplies, or tools as needed. Restock break room, bathrooms, and vending machines regularly. •
Support & Maintenance:
○ Assist the Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor or Maintenance Technician as needed with light facility maintenance (e.g., changing bulbs, tightening fixtures, replacing filters). ○ Support Receiving for large deliveries and assist with setup/breakdown for company meetings, events, and customer meetings. ○ Recommend improvements for process efficiency. ○ Report safety hazards, unsafe conditions, repairs, or special cleaning projects to the Facilities Manager. •
Other Duties:
○ Perform other duties as assigned by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND
ABILITIES
) Prior janitorial/facility cleaning experience. Attention to detail. Organized with little need for supervision once trained. Team player. Excellent communication skills. Regular attendance. Good attitude and willingness to maintain high cleanliness standards. Ability to balance multiple assignments and manage priorities.

Ability to lift 30 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Work standing for 8-9 hours at a time. Use hands to type, handle, and feel, reach with hands and arms above and below shoulder height.
