What they do

A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Our diverse community spans the cities of Stockton, Lathrop, Manteca, and the township of French Camp. Our 25,000 students and over 3,000 staff members learn and work in a culture of creativity, critical thinking, and collaborative communication to expand the possible. We offer a variety of traditional and alternative educational settings for students and staff members. Our 30+ schools serve students from diverse cultural backgrounds and from physical areas ranging from rural to urban. The district spans approximately 113 square miles and is located in the southern part of San Joaquin County.
