A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities? Do you have experience in janitorial work and a desire to help others develop skills that promote independence and success in the workforce? If so, we would love to have you join our team as a Job Coach. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and training a crew of three individuals with disabilities to perform janitorial tasks in various office buildings at the March Air Reserve Base. The Job Coach is a working supervisor who is also responsible for performing work to ensure all tasks are completed as required.Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-the-job training to individuals with disabilities in janitorial work at local businesses. Perform the scope of work to the highest standard and complete all job tasks as required. Maintain inventory, supplies, proper mixing of chemicals and observe safety protocols at all times. Monitor and assess performance, providing feedback and corrective instruction as needed Maintain accurate records of work progress, goals, and individual's performance. 1 Position will require driving individuals, in company supplied vehicle, to different buildings on base to perform janitorial services.Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in janitorial work is preferred. Ability to work with, train, and support individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must pass background check and have a valid driver's license or California State ID.Job Type:
