Mt. Shasta Ski Park is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our Facilities Team as Janitorial Staff. This position is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and employees throughout the resort. Janitorial staff work both indoors and outdoors, ensuring that facilities are well maintained during our busy winter season.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize restrooms, dining areas, lodges, and other public spaces. Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the park. Restock restroom supplies and maintain cleanliness standards. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform other general cleaning duties as assigned. Respond promptly to spills or maintenance needs. Assist with snow and ice removal near entryways and walkways as needed. Maintain cleaning equipment and report any repairs or supply needs to supervisors. Provide friendly and helpful customer service when interacting with guests. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform repetitive cleaning tasks. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in winter conditions. Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required (training provided).

Compensation & Schedule:

Pay rate: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. Seasonal position with both full-time and part-time opportunities. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak operating days.
