Duties Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocols to prevent accidents or contamination Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, and other custodial equipment to maintain floors in pristine condition, including buffing and floor care routines Conduct routine sanitation tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards Assist with light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, or painting as needed to support facilities upkeep Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy cleaning supplies or equipment to prevent injury during manual handling tasks Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any facility issues requiring further attention Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and custodial equipment operation Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to safety protocol guidelines Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects using safe lifting practices Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and safety standards Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset when interacting with staff or visitors Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Join us in creating a clean, safe, and inviting environment!
