In this vital role, you will ensure that our workspaces, public areas, and specialized environments are spotless, safe, and welcoming. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across various areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies. Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and other floor care techniques to ensure a polished appearance. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of machinery or specialized equipment as needed. Handle custodial responsibilities including trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for yourself and others. Support porter duties by moving furniture or heavy items and ensuring all areas are organized and accessible. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and stripping is advantageous. Experience with industrial cleaning processes or facilities maintenance will set you apart. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper use of cleaning equipment is essential.
