A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Substitute Custodian Position Summary Performs a variety of work in connection with the custodial, grounds cleanup, and light maintenance at a school campus, classroom, multi-use, office, or related facilities.

51 Education and Experience The position requires a High School diploma or GED. Licenses and Certificates May require a valid driver's license.
