Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will maintain cleanliness and hygiene at various client locations, ensuring that all areas are clean, orderly, and presentable. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills. Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed. Empty trash and recycling bins. Report any maintenance issues or repairs required up the chain of command. Ensure cleaning supplies are well-stocked and inform management when supplies must be replenished. Perform deep cleaning tasks as required, such as post-construction cleaning and window washing. Handle any specific client requests promptly and efficiently. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. Follow proper procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment. Maintain professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with clients and staff. Be punctual and reliable, ensuring all tasks are completed within the designated time frame.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a janitorial or cleaning role is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Basic knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling practices. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds, bending, and standing for extended periods. Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic. Commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
