$21.00 Express Employment Professionals of Rancho Cucamonga is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor / Custodian for a manufacturing facility in Ontario, CA. We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning experience who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workplace. The ideal candidate is reliable, able to work independently, and comfortable following established daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules and checklists without constant supervision. $21.00/hour Day shift: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Consistent Monday-Friday schedule Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning throughout production areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas . Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces throughout the facility. Empty trash and recycling containers and properly dispose of waste. Clean restrooms and restock restroom supplies. Maintain floors and ensure walkways remain clear of debris and potential safety hazards. Follow established daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning checklists . Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment. Report maintenance concerns or potential safety hazards to management. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and PPE requirements. Remain productive and manage assigned cleaning responsibilities throughout the shift. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning experience required. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment . Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail. Dependable with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance. Ability to work independently without constant supervision. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Work boots required.
